• Webmaster world will further your education!
• Find some great keywords to optimize for with this free tool.
• Compute your site's Download Speed.
• If you don't have a good web editor like Dreamweaver, NVU is the next best thing, and it is free.
• GoDaddy has VERY good hosting for beginning sites for just $3.95 per month!
• Download Accelerator Plus is the BEST download manager there is. If you are download a lot of large files, this is the only way to go...and it's free!
• Google Webmaster Tools are great!
• Matt Cutts, a Google engineer offers free SEO advice.
• Color Blender helps to color coordinate your site.

• If your site is brand new, submitting it to as many of these directories will help get it indexed sooner by Google and Yahoo.
